Judith's Punch A Creme

Judith has been making this for years at Christmas, and it is wonderful!

With a mixer, beat

1 egg
1/4 t. lemon juice

When creamy, beat in:

few drops Angostura bitters
1 tin condensed milk
1 tin evaporated milk
1/4 t. cinnamon

When that is very smooth, beat in:

2 oz. rum

Put your clean bottle in a stable bowl, insert a funnel, and cover with a strainer. Pour the punch into the bottle, leaving some air space (ooh, sounds so military), and cap. Keep it in the fridge a few days before serving, though it is so good you may not want to.

She makes this with 12 tins of each milk and a dozen eggs, then pours in a 26-er of rum...this year she has to make two batches, and had to buy a special bucket to make it in. It took me years to get this recipe, and let me tell you, it was not easy as you might think, but well worth it!
